Window Film Maintenance

Requirements: Shampoo, Spray Bottle with Filtered Water, Squeegee and Microfiber Cloth

Use 5ml Baby Shampoo (pH5.5 balanced)  per 750 ml of water and prepare a soapy solution, spray solution on tinted or safety film applied glass liberally and gently wipe with a microfiber cloth or baby sponge and squeegee off with a soft blade squeegee, all or any excess water can be gently dabbed off with another dry microfiber cloth at the drip off point.

If there are any fingerprints or any other
similar oil smudge type residue or dirt on your filmed glass, spray a little extra soapy solution to that particular area and gently wipe the area with a microfiber cloth or soft baby sponge, then squeegee off and wipe off all soapy foam, you may thereafter continue to spray on some filtered water to clear off any excess shampoo residue and repeat the squeegee process until you are satisfied that the glass panes are pristine clean.

Do not at any time use any kind of scoring powders or liquids, rough scrub pads, ordinary newspaper or window cleaning liquid which could scratch, burn and fade the films’ surface.

Our films are of the highest quality, you however do need to maintain them in the right way to reap the best benefit of the film and ensure their longevity.
