How to take Measurements

HOW TO TAKE YOUR OWN MEASUREMENTS AND SAVE A LOT OF TIME

Always take measurements in inches starting from top to bottom (height first) of your glass pane, and then left to right (width second) from tallest to widest points. Please note that 1 inch must be added to each side as trimming allowance in your measurement, ie: if a glass pane or window measures up as 40 inches height by 28 inches width, your measurement must then read as 41 inches height x 29 inches width.

To calculate how many square feet each of your glass panes measures, multiply the height by the width and divide it by 144
Example: 112” x 58” x  4 glass panes = 25,984 square inches ÷ 144 = 180.444 square feet, you then multiply the 180.444 square feet by a square foot rate (eg: let’s say you select a film that is Rs.185/- per sqft) ~ therefore 180.444 sqft x Rs. 185/- = Rs.33,382/22, this way you will have an almost accurate estimate of what it’s going to cost you before you commit to ordering and asking us to do a final proper measurement after visiting your site.

Kindly note that each and every glass must be measured independently of each other and not batched together as one row or column of glasses as there will be center divides either by frames or silicone and this would mean huge wastage of film when the film is physically cut to size.  Minimum order quantity must be 100 square feet.

We usually do site visits only after an order confirmation has been made, the required material selected and a firm undertaking is made on advance payment etc, if you, however, believe a site visit is absolutely essential prior to that, we will be glad to oblige provided you agree to pay our site visiting fee of Rs.2,500/-, which is deductible/refundable once you have confirmed a job with us.  This practice is so we keep our pricing extremely competitive and low for each and every customers benefit. We do not allow site visit expenditure to impact our overheads forcing us to increase base prices of our products and services.

We have adopted this scheme in line with global trends which makes good sense to all customers.
Thank you for your cooperation and understanding.
